man this is the best game i've played on itchi.io Ilike literally everything about this game the art, the music, the characters, and so on. i really hope this project doesn't get abandoned.
We just pushed this last update a few days ago and we're currently working on a hotfix for some of the big issues (black screen, blocking etc) Once we get this hotfix done, we will finally be able to start planning what's going to be in the next update OR get a date and see what all we think we can fit into the game by that date, not sure its decided yet. So, no idea yet! But, this last update was a HUGE refactor of the underlying systems in the game and that SHOULD make future updates faster and easier for us.
Don't use the continue button, the last level of the update before this one was deleted and replaced, so the level you were dosent exist anymore so black screen (i could explain a bit deeper but im kinda lazy), use the select level option instead and then you will be able to use the continue button
Oh, I have no idea what you bought, that might be just a "tip" through itch. the "Full" version is only on Patreon. You can use that windows version to play the demo version though

One cause I found for the black screen is a save in an older version (0.1.5.3 hotfix), where the save was in the beach, and, as you know, that was changed in the newest (free) version (0.1.7.1). I know data such as exp and save location translated to the newer version since that’s what happened to me. It is possible that the new version is trying to look for the save but cannot find it because it was changed.
I’m not sure if this is the case for Android, as I am on windows.
I'm of the opinion its our fade mechanic. Due to the UI sitting in front of this black screen, the only thing I can think of that would do that is the fader. The fact that you can hear the sounds tells me the game should be playing. We're exploring options for a test of this.
The save system is pretty simple, if it can't find any data, it just creates a new data type for it. I didn't create it and we might end up refactoring the whole thing. Its not a bad system, its just complex enough to be annoying to work with imo.
if im not mistaken, and maybe I am if i remember right, I swear i deleted the save game in the public version and it ended up also deleting the save in the patreon version too

I can't answer that myself. I am 99.99999% sure the $30 patreon tier would definitely get you access (that'd be a dick move if we didn't IMO but I dont make those decisions. Snaurz isn't a dick at all so hence why I'm 99.99999% positive you would)
As for the $6 tier, that gives you access to the current "full" version of the game and discord access. Whether that gives you the full game on release, I have no idea. We're about a year away still from 1.0/Steam
I must have broken something cause now I go to fight the bear again and when entering the arena the wolf cuts cutscene doesn't trigger so I have to run up to the bear and beat it up. It will start attacking back though after that. Also hate to say this but fighting the bear is super easy to get him confused and just beat him up.
I'll have to take a look at that. The bear starts in a "WaitingForDialogue" state so he doesn't move until the dialogue is finished. If the dialogue isn't triggered on a rematch, then he'll stand there until he's forced into a difference state, like being Stunned from damage

Yup, the black screen is taking a bit because we're having a hard time reproducing it. It doesn't seem to happen AT all in our editor, which makes tracking the cause annoying. We're actively working on it though!
Itch will always stop here, this will be the Demo version of the game basically. So while you'll get system updates or quality of life features, new content will only be on Patreon and then in the final release version we'll put up on Steam.
Patreon currently has train + city levels with more city to come, and 2 more acts as well.

honestly, i expected an full H-scene with shark guy in convinience store, but maybe it gets added later? also a little suggestion but i think it would be cool if ya added another animation to previous enemies but under horny effect from the pink puddle i know this may be bothersome but eh. one could hope
Shark guy will definitely have is own scene before the final version. And yes we agree about the pink water affecting enemies. While I'm not sure about full animations (its doable but art takes awhile) I'd love to do something with a shader or something, have it "soak" into enemies/Chiro a bit visually
this game is amazing. im seriously thinking about buying access.
also found a bug when i get killed by the octo girl a couple or even one time and i press back to checkpoint, i cant dash and have to restart the game(relaunch) tbh its a minor bug
also where can i get the discord server or do i only get that when i become a member?
Hi, I downloaded the game demo on my cell phone, but when the game's introduction ended, the screen went black and when I went from room to room, it remained black.
Its not exactly intuitive, we're working on adding some artwork on the wall or something that will tell you to break the board there. You might need a certain "bouncy" friend's help to do so!
And yes, we're working on adding the up and down look to mobile as well!
judging on the update system, will my progress be able to transfer to the next upcoming update/hotfix? (I got 100 atk and almost 100k exp I don’t want to lose lol)

We've seen users have success by restarting the game. Its on our board to take a look at and hopefully fix.

More than likely not. Apple makes it stupidly difficult to get a version on mac.

Pretty good game! I will say, it seems pretty strange that the Josie boss fight is a one hit kill, but otherwise, it seems pretty fun!

Probably not with this update. The saving/loading system was refactored a bit, so you wont have some of the new data structure.
